We, a group of 17 Swiss pilots, spent a few days in Tapalpa in January 2009 launching our paragliders
from both sites Gravidad Zero (a large lawn, for 20 US$ per day for individual pilots; less as a group) and
on the other side of the road at la Ceja for free. The la Ceja site is less luxurious as a launching site but not
at all problematic. What is an absolute luxury at la Ceja however, is the food prepared by Juan Carlos. Be it
a breakfast buffet with delicious french toasts along with the Mexican fare and fresh fruit or lunch with meat
from his grill with savory salads and whatever else he whips up in his kitchen to share with hungry pilots.
He knows what gringos like :-)

launch , restaurant, bar and camping. It's all great!!

Nice place to hang out while waiting to fly. This is my first trip to Tapalpa and have found everyone friendly.

This is the best place for pilots to stay, eat, hang out and fly! A beautiful natural setting and traditional
buildings make "La Ceja" so special and of course the hosts Juan Carlos and Jose!

A pilot's paradise ! Been here 5 times flying and enjoyed every moment. Amazing what Juan Carlos and
Jose pulled together in one year. GREAT FOOD !! too....
